Building a cost-effective, person-centered home and community based system is a very challenging effort.  Individuals must collaborate and support each other to accomplish this difficult and precarious task.

Governments must work in tandem with the community to build a community-based system.  The three figures in our logo represent the three primary groups that must work together for successful systems transformation: government officials; individuals with disabilities and their advocates; and providers of supports.

In successful systems, government, program participants, and providers work together.

Our Project Management Methodology

We customize each of our project teams in order to deliver a superior product to each client.  Project teams are lead by senior associates and include team members with the credentials and expertise fitting the project.  Team members working on projects typically have years of experience with program or system operation and reform.

We have a well-developed process for managing projects. We first enter into discussions about specific scopes of work. We then translate the scope into specific tasks, milestones, and deadlines.

This Gantt Chart below provides an example of the charts we map out for every project. This chart is continually updated to coordinate tasks and site visits and ensures timely delivery of work products.  The chart tracks work by both individual tasks and by site visit to facilitate coordination with state officials and stakeholders.

We coordinate our work internally and with the project officer(s) using web-enabled conference calls that will range from biweekly to monthly depending upon the workload.  We document tasks achieved, difficulties encountered and next steps with specific work assignments during each call.  This information can be shared with the project officer to facilitate her or his ability to monitor our work.  We can also establish a project website to facilitate sharing documents with the state and stakeholders
